Here I will post art I have made, art I wish I made, and pictures I like. Maybe some other stuff too. Enjoy...!

Photoshop Phun
These two images were my first "official" photoshop assignments. For the composite image, I chose a photograph I took while I was at Loch Lomond, Scotland, and I enjoyed throwing in those random objects. I also had fun combining Mel Gibson's head with the Westboro Baptist Church member. I think he could fit in there perfectly.

"Intelligent" Response
I really enjoying watching the TED talks videos because it allows me to look at art and technology with a different perspective. The people giving the talks work in those specific fields, and can explain their own thoughts in a way that makes it intriguing for me. Some of the work I do is similar to their work, and I can be inspired by some if the things they say and do.
Also, the thought that my work can be stolen and used on the other side of the world is a bit scary for me. I take images off of Google every week without even thinking about it, but I don't know how I would feel if someone did that to my work. It makes me wonder if I should (at some point in the future) start copyrighting my work.

Type Drawings
This was my first experimentation with Adobe Illustrator. We had to create images using only type: an expressive, representational, non-representational, and a six-word bio image. This was my attempt.
Scanner Face
For this assignment, I pressed my face against a scanner and brought the image into Adobe Illustrator. I then layered the different values in Illustrator that I found in the scanned image, and matched them exactly as they appeared back in Illustrator. And WALA! SCANNER FACE.

My Artwork (well, some of it)
Here is just some of a whole bunch of art I created this past year. Some of these works were completed during the past week, and others were done last semester and beyond. The medium I use the most is chalk pastel and charcoal, but I also use oil and acrylic paints, clay, and more. I hope you enjoy what I have done and I promise there will be more to come soon!

A Day in the Philly
My experience was very exciting because I discovered lots of new locations in Philly. I found a small, quaint gallery, and a shop that only sold artwork that was made by hand by the friends of the owners'.
I was happy to discover such a cool area of Philly that I didn't know about before, and that I know I'll go to again in the near future.
